Ragve

Guides

Remove duplicate CSV rows without losing the header

A duplicate is a complete data row whose cells match another row in the same order. Ragve keeps the first occurrence. The header is kept once and is never treated as a data row. A row with a different email address is not a duplicate, even if the name is the same.

Choose the right CSV separator and encoding

CSV is a text table, but the separator is not always a comma. European exports often use semicolons; tab-separated exports use tabs. A comma inside a quoted cell is part of the value, not a new column.

Merge CSV files with matching headers

A vertical merge adds the data rows of later files under the first table. It does not join customers by ID, match records by date or combine unrelated columns. Ragve requires identical header text and order.

Preserve identifiers and leading zeros

Postal codes, invoice codes and membership numbers often look numeric but are identifiers. A value such as 00127 should not become 127. CSV has no way to mark a column as text for every spreadsheet application.

Export Excel workbook sheets as separate CSV files

An XLSX workbook may contain multiple sheets; CSV can represent one flat table only. Select the converter and CSV output to get one downloadable card for every nonempty worksheet. Up to 20 sheets are supported.

Understand formula protection in CSV downloads

Spreadsheet applications can interpret values beginning with =, +, -, or @ as formulas. A file imported from an untrusted person can therefore behave differently from plain text when opened. CSV quoting alone does not stop formula interpretation.
